BAP grants $47,375 to local HIV organizations

Organizations from Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, TX received $47,375 in grants from the Border AIDS Partnership during the 2023 grant cycle. The organizations and the programs that received funding this year are:

Programa Compañeros of Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua

  • HIV PrEParations—$8,000
  • Entre Mujeres nos Entendemos—$7,500
  • Prevention, Harm Reduction and Dignification—$8,000

Centro Caritativo of Cd. Juárez, Chihuahua

  • HIV Prevention is in Your Own Hands—$14,500

Borderland Rainbow Center—El Paso, TX

  • Gender Affirming Care Case Manager Project—$9,375

BAP’s mission is to secure sustainable resources and mobilize community services to provide funding to organizations who offer education, testing and social services to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS or at high risk of infection; as well as prevention services to underserved area populations in our region, including marginalized youth of all races, sexes and ages.
