Michelle Cummings
Michelle Cummings is an elementary school nurse in El Paso Texas. Born in Albuquerque and raised in El Paso, Michelle has lived in New Zealand where she taught middle school. She also spent two summers in upstate New York, where she lived as a full time summer camp nurse. She has served on numerous community nonprofit boards including serving as President of Texas School Nurse Organization for Region 19, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (West Texas Region), multiple positions within the Mission Hills Neighborhood Association, to name a few. Michelle is committed to her family (two grown sons and Chris, her husband) first, the patients she cares for second, her community of El Paso third, and lastly, to roller-skating whenever and wherever she can. She joined the board of Border AIDS Partnership in 2023 because it aligns with her belief that health care and access to all, is a basic human right.
