Edgar Picazo

Edgar Picazo is an artist, producer, and writer from Ciudad Juárez and El Paso. His work focuses on the ethical representations of border identities and problematics. His work has been exhibited and published nationally and internationally, and he has extensively collaborated with many artists and cultural institutions. In 2018 he founded Azul Arena, an organization that aims to support local artists and provide a platform for the dissemination of ideas and thoughts occurring from the lived experience of the region. He joined BAP’s board in 2023.
